At Oly Software, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you use oly.run, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to be straightforward — no surprises.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: Your email address and name when you create an account.
  • Payment information: Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
  • Workflow inputs: The information you provide when running a workflow (e.g., topics, business details, preferences). This is necessary to generate your deliverable.
  • Generated outputs: The deliverables produced by your workflow runs.
  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, workflows run, timestamps, browser type, and device information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the service: Process your workflow inputs, generate deliverables, handle payments, and manage your account.
  • Improve our workflows: Analyze anonymized usage patterns to make our workflows better and develop new ones.
  • Anonymized analytics: Understand how the platform is used in aggregate to improve performance and user experience.
  • Communicate with you: Send transactional emails (receipts, delivery confirmations) and, if you opt in, product updates.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

Third-Party Services

We work with a small number of trusted third-party services:

  • Stripe processes all payments. When you make a purchase, your payment information is handled directly by Stripe under their privacy policy.
  • Anthropic provides the Claude AI that powers our workflows. Your workflow inputs are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use your inputs to train their models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
  • Vercel hosts our platform and may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request data). See Vercel's privacy policy.

Data Retention

Workflow data: Your workflow inputs and generated outputs are stored for 90 days so you can access your recent deliverables. After 90 days, this data is automatically deleted from our systems.

Account data: Your account information is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required by law to retain it.

Payment records: Transaction records are retained as required by tax and financial regulations.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete your data: Request deletion of your account and associated personal information.
  • Data portability: Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Opt out of marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us.

Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies:

  • Session cookies: Essential for keeping you logged in and the platform functioning. These are required and cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies (optional): Help us understand how the platform is used. You can opt out of these through your browser settings or our cookie preferences.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from ad networks.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure server infrastructure on Vercel, and access controls for internal systems.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly as required by law.

Children's Privacy

oly.run is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify you by email if you have an account. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
